Our tiny dancer.
My baby girl.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you!
I decided to just jump right in with a St. Patrick's Day post because it has been so long since I posted. Today my Carolina is dressed in a bunny outfit and Elizabeth is following behind her!
These girls! These girls! What else can I say except thank you for these girls!
Carolina just finished up her dance class. She did exceptional I might add. She has learned to walk on her tippy toes and smile big with her chin up! It might be something she wants to continue, we will have to see.
Elizabeth is pulling up on everything. She is a studier. She is studying about walking I can just tell. She is very smart and so incredibly lovable! Her smile just lights up the entire room! She was good at saying Momma, but now when I say Momma, she says "Dadda"! Drats! Is all I can say!
Our family had the best time at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. Louis this last Saturday. I ran my first 5 mile race and was so glad to say that I finished under an hour. Greg and my girls waited for me at the finish line. Really, they were the only thing that kept me going on the first hill on the second mile. Brutal to say the least, but I finished strong!
After the race we were able to celebrate our time with some friends, The O'Reilly Clan. We walked with our friends Mollie and Will with their family float. It was so much fun. Being in the parade is the way to go. You don't have to fight all the crowds! You can pick up the good candy along the road if you like and people like it if you wave to them:)
Well just wanted to say hi and get back into the groove!
Happy Patrick's Day! Just found out this was one of my dad's favorite holidays so I think he would have been proud of me on Saturday! Miss him! So cheers to Gene on this Happy Patrick's Day!
Enjoy your day and let's all chant "We want spring! We want spring! We want spring!
